AHA Adopts a Family!

This year we adopted a family through Domestic Abuse Intervention Services to fulfill the holiday wishlist of for a single mother and her young son. Through our groups donations this year we were able to purchase:

Frying pan, spatula, silverware, a fluffy bath towel, and a gift certificate to her favorite grocery store

Toy car, mega blocks, a book about cars (he loves cars!), education flash cards, winter boots and socks, and a pair of space themed pajamas!

We were happy to give during the holiday season, and demonstrate that atheists can good and kind without religion!

Of course no shopping trip is complete without the boys drooling over the new Hobbit Lego play set :)
