God Graveyard Returns

God Graveyard continues to be a national phenomenon with the help of the Secular Student Alliance. AHA erected the original "God Graveyard" once again for student viewing on Bascom Hill. With this display, AHA hopes to encourage critical thought about religion and faith. Here's the text of the signs posted at all four corners of the graveyard:

GOD GRAVEYARD
Here lie the graves of thousands of past gods.
Once worshiped by entire civilizations,
now forgotten by most.

How much longer will the gods of today last?

These signs were posted on all four corners of the graveyard.

A final look at the Graveyard from the bottom of the hill.

AHA Officers pose for a photo after arranging 230 signs on Bascom Hill before 7:45am classes.

  1. At least you've changed the sign somewhat since 2013, so now it doesn't completely deny that these gods are still being worshiped.

  2. I look forward to this display again, I'll have to pay attention and actually take a walk through it!
