Weekly Meeting: Pseudoscience

Weekly Meeting

Psuedoscience

Thursday, January 30th - 7pm
Ingraham Hall, Room 224

What fate do the stars predict for you? Will a homeopathic beer give a stronger buzz? Did ancient aliens really build the pyramids? How important is a prefix? Come discuss all of these completely serious questions and more at tomorrow's meeting on Pseudoscience!

Can't make the meeting? Join us afterwards at the Rathskeller around 9pm for drinks, food, and more great conversation.

I hope to see you there!

-Adam Benton
Co-Service Chair

Next Week's Meeting:

Evolution/Creationism

Thursday, February 6th - 7pm
Ingraham Hall, Room 224

If you are receiving this email, it is incredibly likely that you accept evolution as a valid theory for the history of life on earth. How can we, as freethinkers, refute those that see creationism as a scientific theory and choose to present that opinion as fact in our public schools?

We hope you can join us!

  1. Why don't you guys set up a simple stream for those of use who can't make it to the meetings? Better yet, a Google+ hangout, so that we can participate as well as observe. It would be a relatively simple matter of attaching a microphone/camera to a laptop to do so.
