Mifflin Street Trash Party!

The day after the infamous Mifflin Street block party held every year here in Madison, AHA members and officers took to Mifflin Street to help with the clean-up process in our first-ever Mifflin Street Trash Party.  Image may contain: 10 people, people smiling, people standing and outdoor
After an hour and a half of picking up trash and recycling left behind from the previous day’s event, we were not only able to clear 24 bags of waste from the streets, but were also able to inspire many students living in the houses on Mifflin to come out and join in picking up trash.
Needless to say, Mifflin Street was left sparkling by the time we were done, and our first ever mifflin Street Trash Party was a huge success!
Thank you to everyone who participated in our effort to keep Madison’s streets clean, we hope to see you again next year!
